Lauren J. WSI Instructor nls lifeguard Hello! I’m Lauren and I was born and raised in White Rock/South Surrey and have lived here my whole life! I’ve been a lifeguard and swim instructor for over 3 years now, working at both indoor and outdoor pools. Both my parents were lifeguards and swim instructors (it's actually how they met!) so they inspired me to become one as well. As a child, I always loved being in the water and looked forward to swimming lessons, so becoming a swim instructor seemed like the perfect job for me. I look forward to helping children become more confident in the water and strive to create a safe, fun and positive learning environment for all ages and levels. I am an enthusiastic, kind and patient instructor and I hope to pass on my love of swimming to my students. I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and love to workout, paddle board, hike, and go for walks in my free time. Currently, I am a university student at Western University studying Health Sciences and plan to pursue a career in the Health and Medical field. I look forward to getting to meet you all and getting in the water! |
